We are seeking a new Clinician III to join our team. Your role will be to lead our growing team of dedicated Clinicians and promote empathy, respect, compassion, comfort, and stewardship to our clients and community.
As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the Clinician III Team Members supervise our level I and II Clinicians, provide psychotherapy, diagnostic assessments, and counseling in the context of the individual, group and family structure, and ensures all assessments are up-to-date and completed in a timely manner within the Family and Youth department, you will work with Interns, our level I and II Clinicians and report to our Family and Youth Director.
What You Will Do:
- Monitor progress notes to ensure they align with IICP (Integrated Individualized Care Plan) and evidence base practices.
- Oversee timely submission of required reports for court hearings and/or DCS referrals.
- Provides assessments for clients utilizing the DSM-5 assessment tools within 72 hours of referral. Develops a treatment plan for clients and family as needed.
- Completes initial client intakes which include client history, a mental status exam, presenting problems, a CANS/ANSA assessment, and treatment plan.
- Complete all documentation collaboratively in the electronic medical records system within the same business day.
- Provide direct individual, group and family therapy in the home, school, and office. Maintains interaction/communication with client’s family, school, and other providers.
- Attends and presents two cases in case consultation meetings with psychiatrist regarding client needs and treatment planning. Attend All Staff meetings weekly.
- Maintains treatment involvement with inpatient personnel when the assigned patient is hospitalized, incarcerated and or placed in a residential setting.
- Ensures that clients receive in-home services, psychological testing, random urine screenings, or other test per program requirements and IICP recommendations.
- Integrates financial aspect of client’s activities with clinical treatment plans and goals.
