- Pay: 90.00-102.51/hr on W2.
- 12-month assignment to start with potential for extension or conversion.
- 100 percent remote role.
- Manages the efficient flow of goods, services, and information throughout the clinical supply chain, including product order management and global distribution. Builds relationships with and acts as a key resource and escalation point for internal customers, distributors, and suppliers.
- Responsible for the coordination and planning of the shipment of drugs for pharma trials.
- Will sit on the Supply Management Team as a representative for this department.
- They will be required to work with several stakeholders: Quality Control, IRT Specialists, Global Supply Chain, Clinical Operations and logistics department in different countries.
- Must have extensive experience to include shipping and distribution, planning and forecasting the shipments (40% of the job),development of good plans (how much drug to pack and when it should be packed).
- It is a must that this person be organized and can follow up on shipments to avoid any missed shipments. System experience with creating item codes along with global change controls is a plus.
- Contributes to the creation of strategy for clinical drug supply; translates strategic objectives into plans for team execution.
- Works within clinical drug supply as well as cross-functionally to develop consistent practices. Knowledgeable of departmental and industry best practices.
- Participates in larger supply chain projects as required. Develop manufacturing/inventory plan based on demand. Routinely identify risks in supply chain, recommend mitigation plans to management, and implement solutions.
- Ensure resources are in place to support new product launches/clinical studies and supply chain projects. Manage/support cross-functional projects such as cross-functional process/system integration. Build processes that are scalable for future growth.
- Development of the IRT supply strategy (resupply parameters, DNS, DND).
