Clinical Supervisor - Frederick: Rare and Expensive Case Management

CareStar is bidding to be a Statewide Case Management Services Provider to Individuals who qualify for the Rare and Expensive Case Management (REM) Program through the Maryland Department of Health. CareStar, an established leader in the home and community-based healthcare industry, is looking for a CLINICAL SUPERVISOR to guide, support and evaluate Case Manager's individual efforts focusing on ongoing clinical and compliance issues and employee development. The Clinical Supervisor will assist with ensuring compliance with the terms of the Maryland Department of Health contract.

THE POSITION
Qualified candidates will have the following knowledge and experience:
- Active license as RN, LSW, or LISW.
- Nationally Recognized Certification in Case Management. Such as: CCM, C-ASWCM or C-SWCM.
- Two (2) years experience with supervising in nursing or a Case Management setting.
- Five (5) years experience in providing healthcare Case Management services to individuals with complex medical needs.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, insurance and waiver programs and knowledge of community resources.
- Ability to instruct, counsel and evaluate subordinate professional staff
