Position: Alameda County Mental Health Clinical Supervisor
Accountability: Reports to the Mental Health Program Director
Job Summary: This role involves supervising licensed and unlicensed mental health clinicians working with children (ages 0-22) and their families. Responsibilities include providing trauma-informed care, developing treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with MediCal requirements through oversight of clinical documentation and supervision.
Duties:
- Individual and group supervision of clinicians and interns.
- Ensure compliance with administrative and clinical duties.
- Assist clinicians in meeting program standards.
- Occasional direct client care.
- Attend relevant meetings and training.
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed with BBS (LMFT, LCSW, PsyD).
- Excellent clinical and writing skills.
- Experience with diverse populations; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and family-focused treatment.
Work Environment: Office setting with local travel required. Full-time hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with potential for remote work.
