About the Job
Maximus is hiring a Clinical Reviewer to support our North Dakota QRTP program. The Clinical Reviewer reviews Independent Contractor Assessor's findings and writes determination reports, creates individualized outcome reports, showing strengths and needs, will need to be CANS certified after hired, score CANS and write determination reports.

*This is a remote position. North Dakota residency preferred, but not required.*
Program Specific Minimum Requirements/Skills/Abilities:
- Master's degree required
- Licensure required- can be any of the following: LPC, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or LMSW
- Minimum 4 years of child welfare experience
- Ability to become CANS certified within two weeks of hire
- Experience writing clinical reports preferred
- Current knowledge of CANS assessments and interviews preferred
- Knowledge of North Dakota state's child welfare programs highly desired.
- Knowledge and understanding of medical and/or behavioral health diagnoses and prescribed medications
- Ability to collect data, define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Skillful in written and verbal communication
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work independently and meet timelines

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reviewing documentation and/or assessments and applying clinical criteria to complete determinations, approvals or recommendations.
- Determine need for and obtain any additional information required to complete actions.
- Determine when escalation or consultation is required with supervisor, physician or related medical or related clinical discipline.
- Complete reports or documentation in accordance with contract requirements.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Preferred knowledge may include community support programs, long-term care assessment and level of care in medical, behavioral health or related programs
- Knowledge and understanding of medical and/or behavioral health diagnoses and prescribed medications
