Responsibilities:
- Provide expert management of financial aspects of clinical trials post-award.
- Liaise with SPA and research accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Run detailed financial reports on clinical trials, focusing on budget adherence and expenditure monitoring.
- Oversee and ensure adherence to policies and procedures related to clinical research billing.
- Conduct audits and reviews to maintain compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management and reporting, with a focus on clinical research or healthcare.
- Strong understanding of clinical research billing compliance and regulations.
- Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- High proficiency in financial software and adaptability to new technologies.
