Clinical Research Coordinator - ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, Medical Assistant for the Clinical Research Coordinator position, seeking a full-time position, Monday - Friday in Boca Raton. This individual would be responsible for, backup support in the clinic and with the patient, study coordination, including performing diagnostic procedures such as phlebotomy and EKG procedures, start-up, data entry and other duties as required at the locations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily contact with the Clinical Trial Management team for recruitment activities, general daily communication, and study start up.

• Coordinating the protocol requirements of new and ongoing clinical trial at the sites.

• Work under the supervision of the Physician while following study protocols and timelines using sound clinical judgment in patient testing, monitoring and care.

• Responsible for the implementation of the research protocols at each site for each study. Coordinate patient care in compliance with protocol requirements, scheduling and testing.
• Responsible for accurate and timely data collection, documentation, entry into computer system, and reporting.
• Patient pre-screening and recruitment.

• Work on IRB communications and maintain regulatory documents. Work with study monitors to assure all documentation is timely and accurate.

• Complete all materials as requested by the Study such as informed consent documents, case report forms, EDC entry, enrollment logs and drug/device accountability logs.

• Willingness for day travel within Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Port Saint Lucie county.

• Other duties as assigned.
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel
• Must be willing to participates in required training and education programs

Requirements:

• Phlebotomy skills, certificate a plus.

• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Ability to check and document vitals as well as perform EKG.

• Strong organizational skills, understanding of medical procedures, outstanding interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently.

Physical Demands:

Coordination, manual, and physical dexterity sufficient to properly and adequately use various items of office equipment as required of the position or directed by the Manager. The position may involve sitting, standing, bending, and stooping. Local Travel may be needed for support purposes. The incumbent must also be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
