Clinical Research Associate at Upstate Medical University

The Research Foundation for the State University of New York (Syracuse, NY) at Upstate Medical University seeks Clinical Research Associate. Assist with all aspects of clinical research protocol in conjunction with the primary investigator and research team. Tasks may include subject screening, eligibility, enrollment, randomization, data entry, shipping study specimens, lab reports, questionnaires, site qualification visits, monitoring visits and study close out meetings. Interact with the investigator, human subjects, Institutional Review Board, University, sponsor, and auditors to ensure smooth, accurate progress of clinical trials from planning stage through trial completion and poststudy closure. Assist with maintenance and archiving of all research department SOPs, managing study record archiving to off-site storage, and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Public Health, Epidemiology, or a closely related field, and two (2) years of experience in coordination of clinical research trials, to include developing consent and assent documents for clinical trial participation, experience in phlebotomy for pediatric and adult research subjects, and demonstrated knowledge of universal immunization schedules & side effects. Salary: $53,726 - $70,000/yr
