Duration: 12 months contract, extendable up to 36 months

QC Sample Handling Technician
Summary:
The QC Sample Handling Technician will be part of a multi-discipline support staff with primary responsibility for receiving, aliquoting, distributing, handling and documentation of GMP samples in support of multi-product and multi-site testing laboratories.
Duties and responsibilities will include aliquoting, sampling, receiving and distributing QC samples and reference standards, all while providing appropriate GMP documentation.
The colleague must work within established corporate and organizational guidelines and must appropriately record and document all relevant information. The colleague must be able be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to interact effectively with peers and senior scientists as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and effective interpersonal and communication skills are required.
Responsibilities:
GMP sample handling
Ensure regular updates and QC of data systems (laboratory information systems)
Conduct shipping/receiving as needed
Aliquoting samples and reference standards
GMP Documentation
Work within established corporate and organizational guidelines and must appropriately record and document all relevant information
Qualifications:
Associate's degree required
A minimum of 0-3+ years of relevant experience
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Technical reading comprehension
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Ability to multitask
