Clinical Psychologist
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Location: 1603 Court Street Road, Syracuse, NY 13208
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Flexible to meet the needs of the program
Pay: $95,000 - $110,000 per year

Our focus is supporting individuals through residential housing, mental health, and clinical services, and immersing our participants in community engagement. Working closely with the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and the Office of Mental Health, we support 27 housing locations and 3 administrative buildings.
Responsibilities
- Provide oversight to coordinate program services, ensuring compliance with state guidelines and best practices.
- Regularly communicate with participants/members and their families/advocates to monitor satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Monitor the development and implementation of program standards and procedures, ensuring that safety and behavioral intervention procedures align with best practices.
- Understand the departmental budget and assist in its development.
- Complete psychological assessments for participants.
- Supervise the Program Director of Children's Services, ABA, and Clinic
- Establish and maintain rapport with OPWDD, CNY Developmental Disabilities Regional Office (DDRO), OMH, and other local providers.
Education & Experience:
Clinical psychologist with the ability to practice in New York State required. At least 1 year working with people with disabilities preferred. 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
Conditions of Employment:
Must possess a valid NYS Driver’s license and have transportation necessary to meet departmental needs. Must have flexible schedule able to accommodate occasional early morning, evening or weekend commitments. Must participate and meet established requirements in a database check through the Division of Criminal Justice Services as defined by the State of New York, Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, Chapter 575 of the Laws of 2004.
