Job Title: Clinical Psychologist
Location: Arlington Heights, Illinois
Salary Range: $105,000 - $125,000 annually

Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our mental health team in Illinois. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and consultation. 

Responsibilities

• Psychological Assessment:

  • Administer, score, and interpret standardized psychological tests to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
  • Conduct clinical interviews and gather collateral information to formulate accurate diagnoses.

• Therapeutic Interventions:

  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to client needs.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy for a range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders.

• Crisis Intervention:

  • Respond promptly to clients in crisis, providing stabilization and de-escalation strategies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safety and appropriate care.

• Consultation and Collaboration:

  • Work closely with medical providers, social workers, and other professionals to coordinate care.
  • Offer expertise on psychological matters to support staff and enhance overall patient care.

• Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports for treatment planning and progress evaluation.

• Training and Education:

  • Provide training and psychoeducation to clients, families, and staff.
  • Stay current with the latest research and advancements in clinical psychology.

Qualifications

• Education:

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.

• Licensure:

  • Active and unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state of Illinois or eligibility for licensure.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of post-doctoral clinical experience preferred.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families.

• Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT).
  • Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse client backgrounds.
