Job Title: Clinical Psychologist
Location: Arlington Heights, Illinois
Salary Range: $105,000 - $125,000 annually
Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our mental health team in Illinois. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and consultation.
Responsibilities

Psychological Assessment:
- Administer, score, and interpret standardized psychological tests to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Conduct clinical interviews and gather collateral information to formulate accurate diagnoses.

Therapeutic Interventions:
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to client needs.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy for a range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders.

Crisis Intervention:
- Respond promptly to clients in crisis, providing stabilization and de-escalation strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safety and appropriate care.

Consultation and Collaboration:
- Work closely with medical providers, social workers, and other professionals to coordinate care.
- Offer expertise on psychological matters to support staff and enhance overall patient care.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
- Prepare detailed reports for treatment planning and progress evaluation.

Training and Education:
- Provide training and psychoeducation to clients, families, and staff.
- Stay current with the latest research and advancements in clinical psychology.
Qualifications

Education:
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.

Licensure:
- Active and unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state of Illinois or eligibility for licensure.

Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of post-doctoral clinical experience preferred.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT).
- Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse client backgrounds.
