Hours: 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM
Location: Rock Island, IL
As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Emergency Medicine, you'll be the vital link in our Emergency Department team! You'll provide top-notch pharmaceutical care, collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to ensure our patients receive the best possible treatment.

Responsibilities:- Participate in daily patient care activities.
- Discuss medication order clarifications with the prescriber.
- Document any changes in patient records and inform others of medication order changes.
- Provide in-services for emergency department nursing and medical staff.
- Initiate research investigations aimed at defining the role of emergency medicine pharmacists or optimizing the care of patients in the emergency department.
Education:
- Graduate of an approved College of Pharmacy and possesses a Doctor of Pharmacy or BS in Pharmacy is required
Experience:
ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency in Acute Care Pharmacy Practice or two years of experience in a complex health-system pharmacy environment is required.
Experience in emergency medicine or critical care is required.
License(s)/Certification(s):
Registered Pharmacist in the state of IA and IL is required within 180 days of hire.
Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
