What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Provide comprehensive clinical and distributive medication management services
• Monitor patients in a specific unit or specialty service, collecting and interpreting data
• Initiate, adjust, and recommend changes in drug therapy based on patient assessments
• Document clinical interventions in the electronic health record in a timely manner
• Coordinate continuing education activities for medical and nursing staff
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelors degree in Pharmacy required; Doctoral degree preferred
• Registration as a Massachusetts Pharmacist required
• 1-3 years of related work experience required
• Completion of PGY1 accredited pharmacy residency or 3+ years of clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
• Must obtain one or more certifications (CSP, BCPS, BCACP) within 18 months of hire
  
  

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• PGY2 specialty experience/fellowship or equivalent experience or 5+ years of clinical pharmacy experience
• Knowledge of complex/chronic disease states and therapies used within specialty pharmacy
