Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate patient safety data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and lead safety training programs to educate staff on best practices.
- Investigate patient safety incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with leadership to create and sustain a culture of safety and accountability.
- Design and implement strategies to reduce healthcare-related errors and adverse outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field.
- Active California Fire and Life Safety Card (within 30 days of hire).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- Master’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field.
- Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) certification.
- At least 2 years of patient safety-specific experience.
