Minimum Education Requirements: 

HS Diploma required; College Degree preferred; COA/COT/COMT Certification preferred

Minimum Experience Requirements:

1-3 years in leadership/management role 

Ophthalmology experience strongly preferred 

A combination of experience, education, and/or training which substantially demonstrates the 

following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Advanced knowledge of HIPAA guidelines

Knowledge of diagnostic codes, billing codes and filing claims

Ability to manage and work with a Customer Service attitude and polite telephone etiquette

Proficient in MS(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet)

Effective communication skills (written and verbal)

Able to lead and manage staff (co-workers)

Aptitude with mathematical functionality (budgets, ledgers, financial reporting)

Self-motivated, disciplined, driven, focused, observant

Proactive, takes initiative, attention to detail, a problem solver
