Sodexo is seeking a Full Time Registered Dietitian for a Clinical Nutrition Manager at PIH Health Hospital in Downey, CA. In this role, the selected candidate will oversee the Clinical Nutrition Department and manage a team of 6 in all areas of patient care.
This is also a great opportunity to gain managerial experience with the clinical team.
PIH Health has a variety of units including an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
PIH Health Downey utilizes the outpatient Nutrition and Wellness Center at PIH Health Whittier campus.

The successful candidate will:
- Be a Registered Dietitian with at least 1 year experience in acute care;
- be responsible for the supervision of Clinical Nutrition Services Department and clinical team of 2 Dietitians ;
- represent department at meetings and patient conferences;
- ensure consistency in day-to-day management and nutritional functions and ensures unit level, corporate, employee relations, safety, training, and unit operating systems compliance;
- be patient focused to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance and be actively involved in Diversity Awareness;
- be highly involved in driving HCAHPS scores and patient satisfaction to meet or exceed set target and have working knowledge of CA state & federal employment law;
- work closely with the management team to meet the needs of Sodexo as well as the client and be directly involved in continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements:Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
