What you will do:
Responsible for supporting the Nurse Director in the safe and effective provision of care for the Medical/Surgical Unit. Maintain both management and clinical nurse roles in the department. Serve as director in director’s absence.

Required Education:
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing

Required Licensure / Registration / Certification
Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Texas, BLS, ACLS, PALS (if not currently ACLS or PALS certified, must complete within six months of employment, and thereafter renew within two months of the recommended date of renewal).
Required Experience:
2 years of shift leader experience in the med/surg area
2 years of shift leader experience in the med/surg area
Preferred Experience:
5 years of shift leader experience in med/surg
5 years of shift leader experience in med/surg
