About the Job
Essential Functions:
The Clinical Manager will report to the Clinical Director. The position requires a professional and pleasant demeanor, committed work ethic, distinct verbal, and good human relations skills. The Clinical Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Overseeing daily service provisions of the OMHC and PRP program, including clinical and administrative staff.
- Outreach, marketing, building, and maintaining relationships with community and
- Referral Sources
- Manage administrative staff in relation to quality assurance activities (Quality Calls/Surveys)
- Manage /Handle service delivery, communication, and other problems between client, family & counselor in day-to-day operations
- Conducting monthly staff meetings for your location.
- Collaboration with Clinical Directors regarding the metrics and KPIs for your location
- Participation in CARF and COMAR quality compliance, including auditing, client/community stakeholder satisfaction, quality telephone calls, and annual meetings
- Meet all requirements of COMAR 10.21.29.09 for Rehabilitation Specialist
- Provide oversight of the daily program of rehabilitation services, and ensure adequate program staffing for day-to-day needs
- Educate the Direct Care staff on how to document the correlation between the rehabilitation activities and the goals identified in the Individual Rehabilitation Plan (IRP)
- Provide overall supervision to Direct Service Staff, and all functions of their job capacity to ensure compliance
- Schedule trainings for staff as needed and based on the training framework
- Make referrals for additional services as needed
- All other duties assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: The Clinical Supervisor must have the following experience, knowledge, or abilities:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields: social work, psychology, counseling, rehabilitation, or a related field
- Maintain professional license in the state of MD to provide therapy services
- Licensed as a LCSW-C Certified supervisor by the Board of Maryland Social Work Examiners (LCSW-C or LCPC)
- At least five years of administrative and/or clinical experience
- Required experience working in a behavioral health setting providing services to clients with emotional and behavior disabilities
- Knowledge of CARF standards and COMAR regulations preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Driver's License and clear driving record
Travel Requirement: Clinical Manager must be able to travel to in person supervision appointments as well as other required events, meetings, and activities. Coverage at other locations (Baltimore City, PG County, Washington County, Frederick County) may also be required.
Age Requirement: Be at least 21 years of age
Education and Experience: Mental Health Professional licensed by the state of Maryland. Experience as required by the credentialing process.
