- Location: coverage area is for Elgin, Itasca, Hoffman Estates, Elmhurst, and Winfield.
- Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00-5:30pm; required to attend monthly Evening Operational meetings
- Licensed RN Required

The Clinical Manager directs plans and coordinates all aspects of nursing and other clinical services within the site. In conjunction with the Director, the Clinical Manager evaluates the department's performance against the benchmark data and goals established and implements process improvements to archive the goals set. The clinical manager acts as a role model for all other care givers in the coordination of patient care.
Responsibilities:
Under direct supervision of the Cardiology Supervior, The Clinical Manager will be responsible for:
- Collaborates with physicians on accomplishing practice goals: financial targets, quality/patient satisfaction targets. Keeps physicians informed on progress toward goal accomplishment. Communicates with physicians organizational initiatives, policies, and assists them in interpretation and working within organizational parameters.
- Organizes/budgets resources (people, equipment, materials) to deliver effective patient care. Reviews department goals and arranges work to accomplish goals. Develops short range targets as indicators toward reaching goals.
- Reviews financial and patient outcomes and assures outcomes fall within acceptable pre-determined limits. Evaluates department data against performance benchmarks and goals established and works with the clinical team to implement performance improvement.
- Plans for acquisition, alignment, and engagement of human resources through selection, on-boarding, coaching, appraisal, and development. Seeks to create an environment with emphasis on team work in accomplishing the mission and goals of the Practice and MPAS.
- Assesses the patient experience through various methodologies of collecting information from patients. Tracks complaints and responds to address complaints in a timely manner. Works toward recovering and ensuring the needs of patients are met.Brings issues forward to Directors for resolutions that are based in organizational systems.
- Functions as a clinical/ management resource and leader for the clinical team and physicians.
- Performs the duties of the triage nurse, staff nurse, or medical assistant as necessary.
- Available to other office clinical and non-clinical staff to answer questions and provide assistance as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Current RN License required
- Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Must have a current CPR certification and a valid Illinois Nurse License
- Knowledge of nursing skills in accordance with nursing standards in the Nurse Practice Act
- At least five years professional nursing experience. Inpatient and outpatient experience helpful.
- Charge nurse, lead nurse, or some other supervisory experience desired.
