Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Perform all routine and complicated laboratory procedures incluidng specimen processing and handling, testing of patient specimens, calculating and reporting of results
- Quality Control Procedures
- Operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment
- Assist in the development of new procedures and protocols
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in a Chemical, Physical, Biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited college/university
- Successful completion of Laboratory Training or Clinical Laboratory Training Program
- Comfortable operating laboratory analyzers and instrumentation, centrifuges, microscopes, pipettes, balances, mixers, rotators, and other equipement
- Must be able to effectively utilize the Laboratory Information System
