Clinical Lab Technician from Joulé

• Conduct various lab tests (microarrays, PCR, qPCR, NGS) using automated/manual methods.
• Perform lab tasks: extractions, library prep, reagent prep, plating, data analysis, inventory management, and quality control.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab equipment (e.g., KingFisher, Hamilton MicroLab Star, MiSeq).
• Follow and enforce SOPs for specimen processing, safety, and accurate results.
• Maintain accurate records using Good Documentation Practices; address protocol deviations.
• Participate in quality control/assurance activities and recommend process improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Proficient lab skills: micropipetting, dilutions, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with lab information systems and computer proficiency.
• CAP/CLIA lab experience preferred
• Experience working with human samples preferred
