Job Duties: Deliver advanced technical/clinical presentations through on-site or virtual meetings for physicians within their hospitals to encourage best practice use of CERENOVUS (CNV) stroke devices in various procedural techniques. Work and operate flow models/simulators to demonstrate CNV stroke devices while supporting conversations on product design and current neurovascular techniques with physicians and staff. Provide support for NTI workshops, CNV courses for internal and external customers and to disseminate information the scientific research underpinning the design of CNV devices. Support and/or perform in-vitro scientific research to better understand the challenges of thrombectomies and best practices for utilizing CNV devices to achieve best clinical outcomes and various solutions to endovascular stroke treatment. Translation of CNV original scientific research into the development of training materials through presentations, videos, or other media for use in CNV/NTI activities. Self-initiate and maintain current knowledge on neuroendovascular stroke treatments and technology. Provide feedback from physician meetings to internal CNV teams to identify potential product enhancements & new product ideas by applying an analytical approach to understanding the clinical needs of neuro-interventionalists. Gather feedback and clinical information from the field and provide input to R&D product development group. Develop and maintain professional, high-quality, physician relationships. Plan, prepare, and execute/support clot related activities with key collaborative centers in stroke treatment. Develop opportunities to co-author publications and generate data to support CNV publications.
Position requires domestic travel up to 80%. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout U.S. May telecommute. (Must be based in the Western Area). Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Clinical Field Engineer-related occupation .
