Responsibilities:Under the routine supervision of a Licensed / Registered Dietitian, the Clinical Dietitian Unregistered, works closely with the interdisciplinary health care team to provide clinical nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy that are integrated and compatible with the patient’s medical program goals and objectives. Primary responsibilities include developing and implementing nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy using established standards of care and practice protocols/guidelines; managing resources in a cost effective manner; participating in performance improvement efforts; and maintaining professional competency and skills required for professional practice.
Qualifications:Education:
Bachelors degree in dietetics, food and nutrition, or related area. Completion of a didactic program in dietetics and supervised practice program approved by the CADE of the American Dietetic Association.
Skill Requirements:
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form to patients, public, physicians and interdisciplinary health care team. Able to function independently on assigned patient care units. General knowledge of nutrient analysis, word processing and spreadsheet software.

Licensure:Must be actively pursuing registration by the CDR of the American Dietetic Association, and applicable state licensure. Registration and applicable state licensure must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
