About the Job
Maximus is hiring a Clinical Coordinator to review Level 2 PASRR (Preadmission Screen Resident Review) assessments and clinical documentation for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to contract clinical standards in support of our IA PASRR program. The Clinical Coordinator will write summaries of findings and determinations for individuals seeking nursing facility admission, or for individuals who already reside in a nursing facility and have a significant change in condition.
Program Specific Minimum Q ualifications:
- Master's degree in a social sciences required (psychology, sociology, counseling, social work, or other mental health related field preferred) or be a licensed professional (LPN or RN)
- 2 years' working with individuals with serious mental illness and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities required
- Experience writing Summaries of Findings preferred
- Experience reviewing clinical assessments preferred
- PASRR experience preferred

*This is a remote position.*
The work schedule is Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Thursday during normal business hours in CST with some flexibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reviewing documentation and/or assessments and applying clinical criteria to complete determinations, approvals or recommendations.
- Determine need for and obtain any additional information required to complete actions.
- Determine when escalation or consultation is required with supervisor, physician or related medical or related clinical discipline.
- Complete reports or documentation in accordance with contract requirements.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Preferred knowledge may include community support programs, long-term care assessment and level of care in medical, behavioral health or related programs
- Knowledge and understanding of medical and/or behavioral health diagnoses and prescribed medications
- Ability to collect data, define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and meet timelines
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Education and licensure requirements are based on program contract requirements and are outlined in job posting
- High School Degree or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience required
- LPN, RN, LCSW, or related licensure preferred and may be required based on contract requirements
