DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Program Director in management of the day-to-day operation of the housing program, including supervising assigned case management and other staff. Oversee the development and implementation of service plans and the clinical coordination of services to residents through auditing of clinical charts, facilitate interdisciplinary team meetings, and provide individual supervision and participate in case conferences. Model clinical skills and professionalism. Train staff on proper use of the AWARDS database system, clinical interventions, development and implementation of groups. Ensure compliance with government contracts and regulations. Facilitate monthly room inspections with residential manager. Communicate with HASA through case conferences and statistical reporting. Manage a small caseload. Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed. Related duties as assigned.
HOURS:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
QUALIFICATIONS:
LMSW required, and at least one year of experience working within a supportive residence setting or with adults living with HIV/AIDS. Supervisory experience preferred. Basic computer literacy required. CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR.
*Vaccination preferred but not required.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
The Glass Factory Apartments consist of 45 units of supported housing for individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Fully renovated in 1996, the Glass Factory is a permanent SRO housing facility funded by the NYC Human Resource Administration's HIV/AIDS Services Administration and the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development. In addition to providing permanent housing for its tenants, Glass Factory offers a variety of supportive services aimed at helping clients stabilize their health, maintain their independence and build a community of support among peers. These services include case management, medication monitoring, referrals to medical facilities, health education, psychiatric management, entitlement support and money management, recreational activities, assistance with activities of daily living and free meals.
