The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics, Section of
Neonatology, seeks Clinical Associates at full-time effort for renewable
terms of up to two years. Appointees will provide neonatal care at our
off-site community hospitals. Responsibilities include attendance at
deliveries, resuscitations, codes, stabilization for transport, and care
for all enhanced Level 2 and tertiary level NICU patients. These
positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation,
including a generous package of fringe benefits, is dependent on
qualifications.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a
medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical
licensure in the States of Illinois and Indiana, and 3) be Board
certified or eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
We especially welcome applicants who have cared for newborns requiring
intensive care within the past five years.
