About the Job
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of licensed healthcare providers, providing essential administrative and clinical support. As a vital member of our team, you will assist in ensuring smooth patient care processes and facilitate effective communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Responsibilities:
Collect patient history and vital signs, and accurately document them in our electronic medical record system.
Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
Aid in the documentation of patient notes.
Respond promptly to telephone calls and messages.
Monitor and follow up on lab and X-ray results.
Coordinate patient schedules to optimize patient flow.
Participate in performance improvement activities, team huddles, and staff trainings.
Maintain confidentiality and security of medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
Communicate with the team regarding medical supply needs.
Address customer inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
Provide occasional guidance, technical advice, and training to staff members.
Qualifications:
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong customer service orientation.
Proficiency in MS Office applications and internet usage.
Fluency in English; additional language skills (Vietnamese, Chinese, Arabic, Spanish) preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Minimum of two years' experience in healthcare or related field preferred.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, sitting, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Remote work environment with flexible hours (approximately 25-30 hours/week).
