The Department of Periodontics, at the Univ of IL Chicago, located in a large metro area, is seeking full-time Clinical Assistant Professor to assist the department with the following responsibilities:
Under direction and supervision, perform Dentistry and Periodontology and teach dental students periodontal anatomy, periodontal health and disease, non-surgical therapy, surgical therapy and implant dentistry. Participate in the development and application of creative advances in oral health care through education excellence and the generation of the new knowledge through creative and original research. Collaborate with faculty to develop interdisciplinary curriculum. Conduct University service and other duties as assigned. Travel for conferences and/or professional development may be required. This position minimally requires a DDS or DMD or its foreign equivalent in Dentistry, 3 years of a Periodontics residency training, and an Illinois dental license or eligibility for an Illinois dental license. The budgeted salary range for the position is $120,000 to $140,000. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
