About the Job
Our Clinical Account Manager is responsible for overall management of current business by meeting and exceeding goals. This includes educating clinicians in determining eligible patients for Pentec therapies, increasing census, and managing overall existing business while enhancing customer service. Create and maintain strong consultative relationship with Dialysis Unit personnel including Registered Dietitians (RDs), Nurses (RNs), Unit and Facility Managers, Social Workers and Nephrologists in support of Pentec Health's renal and/or clinical nutrition therapies.
*For this position, you must be located in New York. The coverage area is Staten Island, Manhattan, and Long Island, with some other possible travel.

Essential Job Duties:
- In assigned territory, maintain and expand the number of patients on census for current Pentec Health intradialytic and intraperitoneal parenteral nutrition therapies (IDPN and IPN) while working collaboratively and in a coordinated way with other Pentec Health departments to maximize customer satisfaction and business results.
- Increase referral growth in existing accounts and expedite the conversion of Referrals to Starts. This will require customer visits and multiple communications with the Customer, members of the Customer Service team and other functions within Pentec Health to maintain and grow the use of Pentec Health's Clinical Nutrition (IDPN and IPN) therapies.
- Participate in local and regional conferences as appropriate, educate Nephrologist and dialysis unit personal on the services we provide and supporting resources, and assist & coordinate in setting up educational programs for our current customers in a way that supports their organizational needs.
- Perform additional sales activities regarding expansion offerings within the Clinical Nutrition business line.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Registered Dietitian is REQUIRED
- Registered Nurse with at least 2 years practical experience in renal nutrition/dialysis is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional/clinical work experience
- Sales experience, preferably in the healthcare industry; Valid State Driver's license with proof of state minimum vehicle insurance.
- Exceptional performance in sales or customer service; Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team; Interpersonal skills - able to quickly build positive relationships; Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent planning, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills; Detail oriented with impeccable follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
