Responsibilities:
The clinic supervisor position is an entry-level supervisory position that supports the patient care mission by carrying out clinical and administrative tasks in accordance with their scope of practice. This position coordinates and oversees the operations of the clinic, coordinates day-to-day administrative and clinical operations within the clinic including but not limited to medical records management, patient scheduling and registration, insurance verification, and allocation of work to clinical staff.This role will also lead the onsite staff and be responsible for coaching, developing and maximizing the success of the clinic. This position requires exemplary attendance, punctuality, professionalism, the ability to pay attention to detail, cooperativeness with co-workers and supervisors, and politeness to customers, vendors, and patients.
Qualifications:- High school diploma and 3-5 years’ experience in medical office setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of EMR systems, Word and Excel.
- Ability to serve as liaison between management and staff.
- Skilled in problem solving, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to convey information both in writing and verbally.
- Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations while providing exceptional customer service.
- Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload.
Preferences:
- Associates’ degree; working knowledge of EPIC; experience in related specialty practice area.
- Medical Assistant or LPN licensing and experience preferred.
