Clinic Administrative Assistant - Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic

Full Time position - Edwards Mill Office: The Clinic Administrative Assistant provides administrative and appointment/test scheduling support for the clinical team and assigned physicians/providers. Works with a diverse group of external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS: Vocational/technical training or equivalent and three years’ of increasingly responsible administrative experience in a healthcare environment preferred. Position requires ability to compose, proofread and edit correspondence, thorough knowledge of English grammar, and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, physicians and patients. Must be able prioritize multiple tasks and demands, communicate effectively orally and in writing and work with minimal instruction or supervision. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint to perform word processing and create graphic and visual presentations. Previous medical appointment and test scheduling experience is a plus. Compensation ranges from $16 to $22 an hour.
