Requirements/Objectives:

Pay:

Up to $35 an hour.

Driving:

The position requires you to drive a company vehicle and is contingent on you being added to our insurance.

Orientation:

As a part of your employment, you will need to complete an orientation. You will have periodic check-ins throughout the orientation process to ensure you are on track and to provide space to discuss questions and ask for support.

Experience:

• Enjoys working outside and environmentally minded

• Background in landscaping, forestry, horticulture, and/or climbing

• Pesticide and related licenses and certificates

• Experience in tree climbing safety- Aerial Rescue Training, CPR, etc.

Skills:

• Professional competency as a climbing Arborist to safely perform and lead tree care duties including pruning, removing and various technical services

• Communication: able to effectively communicate with a small team and provide constructive feedback to coworkers. Clearly communicate with clients and community members to answer technical and service related questions.

• Training: Ability to demonstrate and transfer technical skills to team members

• Able to work outside year round performing tree care services

• Knowledgeable in tree climbing safety- Aerial Rescue Training, CPR, etc.

Proficiency:

Growth goals and corresponding wage adjustments will be outlined as you progress in these areas to build your proficiency.

Benefits:

• Eligibility for health insurance begins at the 1st of the month following your hire date.

• 40 hours of paid personal time off (PTO) after 1 year of full-time employment, 80 hours after 2 years of employment, and 120 hours after 5 years.

• $275 Boot allowance each year on the anniversary of your date of hire.

• 9/80 Work Schedule with every other Monday off
