OTA is seeking detail-oriented and technically proficient Client Systems Technicians to support, maintain, and secure client systems. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge in system administration and a strong understanding of hardware, software, and network connectivity. This role is similar to a technical support specialist.
This position is contingent upon contract award.

Security Clearance Required
OTA is seeking detail-oriented and technically proficient Client Systems Technicians to support, maintain, and secure client systems. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge in system administration and a strong understanding of hardware, software, and network connectivity. This role is similar to a technical support specialist.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
- Understand and apply system administration methodologies at an associate level
- Create, delete, modify, and document user accounts following AF, base, and unit policies
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain various hardware components, including keyboards, mice, cameras, microphones, hard drives, RAM, NICs, power supplies, video cards, and sound cards
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain software including UEFI, BIOS, operating systems, system images, IP configurations, drivers, and client applications
- Perform vulnerability management by installing antivirus software, updating virus definitions, and ensuring the implementation of security patches
- Ensure systems can connect to network resources by adding systems to domains, mapping file shares, and setting up printers
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain system backups, and perform restoration when required
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain monitors, video displays, and KVM systems
- Support mobile device setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance, including cell phones and tablets
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain printers, handling IP configurations, security updates, toner/ink replacement, drum replacement, paper jams, and cleaning
- Perform token management tasks, such as issuing tokens, resetting PINs, logging in to keep tokens active, and tracking assets.
- Configure security settings according to industry best practices and DoD standards.
- Coordinate with vendors for warranty and depot repairs as necessary
- Provide telephone support to assist users with technical issues
- Create and update user manuals, procedures, and instructions
- Train users on routine tasks they can perform independently
- Develop technical documentation for recurring tasks
- Create and implement scripts for task automation using PowerShell and Bash
- Inspect equipment for quality control during installation and maintenance
- Maintain documentation for all installations and modifications, including workstation layouts.
- Monitor, remove, and replace Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) at user desks, including battery and unit replacements
- Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree or approved equivalent experience
- IAT/M Level II
- 4 years of cyber and/or information technology duties and experiences
