Our client, headquartered in Beverly, MA, is a growing, full-service consulting firm that specializes in third-party retirement plans for small to mid-size businesses. The firm provides expert services in plan design, administration, compliance, and consulting for their clients.
Status:
Full-time, Contract-to-hire
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Overview: The Client Support Specialist will be responsible for managing the onboarding of new clients and the offboarding of terminated clients, acting as the primary point of contact for assets and census information, and ensuring accurate, timely communication between clients, financial advisors, accountants, and payroll companies. This is an in-office role with significant autonomy, requiring a candidate who is proficient in Excel, detail-oriented, and able to learn quickly with minimal formal training.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for clients, ensuring smooth transitions.
Collect, review, and reconcile asset and census data for accuracy.
Collaborate with clients, advisors, recordkeepers, and payroll companies to gather year-end data for retirement plans.
Perform trust accounting and ongoing administration of retirement plans.
Prepare and file forms
Handle incoming client inquiries (phone and email), providing timely and professional responses.
Assist with special projects and other related tasks as required.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook) with strong Excel skills, particularly in formulas and data analysis.
Previous experience in an office setting, client service, or administrative support role (experience in a retirement plan or financial services industry is a plus).
Compensation: $24-26/hour
