Responsibilities:SUMMARY
Responsible for serving as an expert in data analysis and reporting, development of tools/reports for use by the business areas as well as to identify areas of opportunity to drive improved performance and efficiency while reducing cost. Create and implement solutions while coordinating with multiple departments and KGPCo leadership throughout the organization to drive change. Provides financial analysis in support of after action reviews for programs / customer accounts for the business to ensure that overall program performance targets and results are achieved.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for analysis, reporting and measurements related to KGP’s successful execution of strategy
- Creates and maintains monthly and quarterly dashboards to track sales and general financial program performance
- Analyzes programs and services as identified by senior leadership to identify trends and performance improvement opportunities
- Partners with Finance and IT to develop modeling scenarios
- Develops predictive models to help drive decision making
- Design, develop and implement cross functional/cross organization data gathering and reporting methods and procedures to combine many inputs into single outputs for management or customer distribution
- Design and create models and reports that identify operational improvements
- Analyzes data and summarizes performance using Microsoft Excel, Power Query, Power BI, SSRS Report Services, and other reporting and analysis software and tools
- Other ad hoc reporting as needed
Qualifications:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, mathematics, statistics, or related field
- 1-3years of data analytics or related experience. Distribution or Advanced Supply Chain experience is plus.
- Ability to manipulate large sets of data
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Excel, Excel Macros, Power Query
- Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and statistical software required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft BI or other business intelligence solutions
- Strong analytical, organizational problem-solving skills
- Requirements include 3 or more years of related experience and Associates degree or equivalent.
- Must have ability to learn to read and understand technical drawings, schematics and documentation.
- Requires demonstrated ability to learn and understand basic electromechanical processes.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the Company.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to add and subtract 10-digit numbers, to multiply and divide with tens and hundreds; ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
