We are a full-service, fast growing CPA firm looking to add a unique, highly motivated, and enthusiastic member to our team. We have an open position for a Client Services Coordinator who is sharp, dedicated and wants to become an integral part of our growing family. This is a full-time, on-site position located in San Diego, CA (92130).
Salary Range:
- $55000 - $65000 / year
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist Partners, Managers, and Accountants by providing tax and accounting support and administrative assistance.
- Review, scan, organize, and verify client documents.
- Coordinate the collection of documents and information from clients for monthly accounting and tax preparation.
- Serve as a liaison between tax clients, accounting clients and tax preparers.
- Manage clients' correspondence, tax and accounting engagement letters, and electronic tax organizers/questionnaires.
- Handle the filing of both paper and electronic documents.
- Manage appointments, including scheduling meetings and calls with clients, prospects, and other team members.
- Contact clients to obtain any missing information necessary for tax and accounting processes.
- Contact clients regarding collections, billing and set up payment schedule.
- Prepare Power of Attorney forms, submit them to government entities, and monitor the processing status.
- Collaborate with the team and provide support using efficient procedures within the practice management system.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3+ years’ experience in a fast-paced professional office environment. Accounting/Tax preferred
- Process oriented with focus on workflow and assignments utilized in practice management software (Office Tools)
- Proficient with office software such as Microsoft Office
- Sound knowledge of general administration processes
- Maturity and responsibility
- Excellent work ethic / dedication / punctual / initiative / personality / pro-active / extreme attention to detail / organized / self-motivated / multi-tasker
- Confident to develop client relationships and build rapport with staff, business partners and clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
