Job Summary
The Client Services Assistant is responsible for assisting the Account Management team in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of Musictoday's online stores with a primary focus on maximizing revenue by increasing the webstore's conversion rate and average order value. The role reports to the Manager, Client Services Operations.
Duties and responsibilities
- Managing the web store pages and products.
- Maintaining promotional price changes and promo creation.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue with new assortment and organizational structures for each store.
- Analyze and summarize findings on customer behavior to suggest store or platform changes that would increase revenue.
- Handle escalated customer service inquiries to provide quick resolution for customer issues.
- Work with clients to load complimentary orders and bulk customer orders.
- Manage customer reviews & summarize feedback for improvements to store, assortment or platform.
- Create JIRA requests for all creative needed for site.
- Setup, test, and launch all promotions and sales based on the Account Manager's promotional calendar for each store.
- Remove all sales, banners, promotional text, and promos once campaigns have ended.
- Analyze sales and inventory reports and provide feedback to Account Manager and Client Services team at large.
- Submit merchandise, production and engineering tickets when glitches in our system or in stores are encountered.
- Merchandise featured items appropriately in like departments/views.
- Work with the Marketing team to ensure SEO best practices are met on all stores.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned by Account Manager based on specific strengths of the candidate.
- Manage offers and order flow, ensuring excellent customer experience via alternate sales channels such as Ticketmaster & Amazon.

Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree required. May also consider equivalent experience and education mix.
- Positive attitude.
- A passion for music & entertainment along with a deep understanding of those industries.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Self-starter. Strong project management skills.
- Great organizational and time management skills on a personal and team level are a must.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for this role as there is frequent interaction with clients, vendors and other functional areas of the business.
- Results oriented, great attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
- Solid understanding of online and direct marketing programs a plus.
- An understanding of the e-commerce industry a plus.
