Since 2006, Dragonfly has provided routine maintenance and repairs on stormwater devices, lakes, ponds, wetlands, and underground facilities. The core purpose of this positionis to drive sales and revenue growth through nurturing relationships within the assigned region. This role functions as a technical expert to our clients and requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. This role is integral to the smooth and profitable execution of work performed by Dragonfly Pond Works.
Responsibilities
- Identifies target clients through a combination of research, mining of company data, and other
sources. - Pursues clients using both phone and email, with the goal of connecting with decision makers.
- Serves as central and primary point of contact for all inbound client inquiries and requests.
- Responds to and acknowledges all client inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
- Estimates and generates proposals.
- Recommends and sells additional services to existing accounts and clients.
- Pursues new leads generated by existing client base, digital campaigns, and tradeshows.
- Leads, develops, and implements client touch programs to nurture relationships with existing clients, including site meetings, lunch and learns, drop-ins, and other activities.
- Perform physical duties including but not limited to driving, walking on steep slopes, bending, kneeling, as well as use hands and arms to grasp, handle and reach.
What you need
- 2+ years of client-facing experience in stormwater or aquatic services required.
- Experience in sales, relationship development and or excellent customer experience desired.
- College degree, preferred.
- Proven experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Effective communicator, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills; relationship building, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Passion for problem-solving and working with people.
- Previous work experience illustrating a strong work ethic, an ability to work well in a team environment, independent thought and critical thinking, business acumen, and an internal motivation to succeed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in a repetitious manner.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and driver record requirements.
