About the Job
As a Client Operations Associate within the Client Account Services (CAS) Custody Service (SVC) Delivery Team, you will act as a subject matter expert in custody account openings and maintenance, global market entry, and of handling advance and complex customer onboarding. You will consult with businesses and clients to meet deliverables by recommending and selecting appropriate courses of action. You will be responsible for project management of global account openings and associated documentation, ensuring alignment with internal and external Service Leval Agreements (SLAs), as well as coordination of complex client requests, such as fund restructures, launches, and transitions. You will leverage your diverse perspective and expertise in automation tools to contribute to developing innovative solutions for our clients and the team. You will collaborate with key internal partners to ensure seamless client delivery and identify opportunities for process improvement, with a strong emphasis on quality and timeliness.
Job responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end custody account and market opening processes by providing guidance to clients on all static data and documentation requirements
- Review and project manage the custody account opening processes, including new, incremental inquiries, and entitlement requests in support clients' operational readiness
- Review and analyze market documents with clients and collaborate with local agent banks for submission in accordance with market SLAs. This involves assisting clients with market restructures, fund mergers/name amendments, new requests, renewals, closures, and transition processes by providing analysis and working with local agent banks to offer clients options
- Drive automation and digital tools strategy by identifying efficiencies and implementing solutions
- Develop innovative and creative solutions to solve complex, real-world business challenges
- Utilize data and visualization to influence decision-making and drive business results
- Adopt the Skills of the Future Program to rapidly excel in an ever-changing environment
- Work proactively with clients to drive standardization and optimization, enabling us to meet a dynamic and complex agenda with agility

- Partner with CAS Coordination members and other key internal stakeholders to provide seamless client delivery and seek opportunities to improve processes with a focus on quality and timeliness and support for market entry
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Must have custody knowledge and industry experience, with an understanding of processes and procedures, as well as global market entry knowledge
- Digital tool experience such as MS Office, Alteryx, Tableau, and Xceptor
- An understanding of client structure and formation documents is required
- High-level oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interface clearly and concisely with clients and internal business partners
- Possesses excellent organizational, analytical, and problem resolution skills
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, client service, and relationship management
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
