Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a Client Liaison - Foreclosure who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with an energized team. The Client Liaison for this position will have excellent communication, organizational, and people skills. The Client Liaison will be a self-motivator, someone who works well with little supervision.
The responsibilities for a Client Liaison include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring all client sites are well maintained and up to date
- Checking dockets when needed to obtain the most current status of the file
- Handle file communications and review from beginning to close of file including conveyance and re-conveyance
- Taking client calls. Also, handling outside calls when needed.
- Responding to client emails and third party emails of vendors working on behalf of the client
- Acting as escalation contact (within firm escalation procedure) to ensure deadlines are not missed and cases are not dismissed
- Acting as escalation point of contact on behalf of client for matters needing escalated within the firm
- Answering client inquiries via email or intercom regarding file status
- Ensuring client policies and procedures are being followed as outlined in the attorney blasts/updates
- Obtaining survey on behalf of client when needed
- Obtaining additional fees on behalf of firm relating to title clearance/Amended Complaints/surveys/sale withdraw and reset
- Participate in client visits/audits when needed
- Having knowledge and understanding of the entire foreclosure process to assist staff/client or outside parties when needed
- Acting as buffer for client issues to ensure firm is viewed in best light as possible in any circumstance
- Review client scorecard and provide rebuttals timely to ensure firm receives the best score possible and remains in good client standing
- Escalating anything found that may be a client or audit issue to management as soon as possibly.
- Notifying clients when they are being named in one of our actions due to a sr or jr interest
- Being an expert on the clients assigned to you personally but also being able to assist with any other client where advice or help may be needed
- Ensuring customer complaint log and compliance logs are returned timely each month according to the clients specifications

- Basic concept/understanding of foreclosure from referral to REO
- Ability to read and understand title work
- Basic concept/understanding of different types of loan docs
- Basic concept/understanding of different types of loans (i.e. FHA, FNMA, Conventional, VA)
- Basic Knowledge of Client Software Databases, such as Black Knight, Symphony & Pyramid
- Strong analysis and judgment skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Good communication skills

- Proficient computer skills
- Pleasant telephone manner

- Must have good command of the English language, oral and written.
- Business school and or an Associates Degree.
- 3 years or more experience working in a law firm a must.
- Previous experience in a client liaison role at a law firm beneficial
