Client Engagement Specialist | Temporary| AM LAW 50 Firm | Houston, TX Our prestigious and globally recognized AM LAW 50 client is hiring an experienced contract Client Engagement Specialist in their Houston office. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works with lawyers and marketing colleagues to plan and execute Client FIrm-sponsored and hosted client events, including Client Firms Women and Diversity programs
- Oversees event logistics, including invitations, mailing lists, handout materials, site management, speakers, visual presentations, and follow-up
- Works with office/regional lawyers and global practice liaisons on the creation, editing, and maintenance of marketing materials, including lawyer biographies, Client Updates, advertisements, and invitations
- Supports implementation and maintenance of the Firms technology tools such as Salesforce (campaign and project management) and InterAction (CRM system) in the office/region and leverages these tools to connect lawyers, clients, and other contacts
- Supports preparation of submissions for office/regional rankings, awards, surveys, and other recognitions for the office and local lawyers and practices, coordinating with global practice liaisons
- Assist in the selection, procurement, inventory, and distribution of firm promotional items for marketing activities
- Perform research and data collection on clients and contacts, industries, and competitors, as requested
- Support special projects as requested by Marketing Department management and regional lawyers
REQUIREMENTS
- Professional marketing, business development, event planning, and/or other relevant experience in a law firm or other professional services organization
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
