CMTC is currently seeking talented resources to join our Field Operations team. The Client Advisor position is responsible for helping manufacturers maintain and improve operations by providing technical and business solutions to meet their needs. This position is accountable for prospecting, understanding client needs, designing client solutions, negotiating contracts, booking agreements, account development, maintaining client relationships, managing projects to conclusion ensuring client satisfaction and securing NIST/MEP Quarterly Surveys. While CMTC's HQ offices are in Long Beach, this is a telecommuting role.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and develop relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Meet with clients to discuss and understand their business strategy, vision and constraints
- Generate long term relationships which result in repeat business and client referrals
- Use the CMTC sales process and best practices to generate leads, contract development, bookings and project manage delivery to realize sales revenue.
- Establish and manage client expectations to assure high value customer projects.
- Collection of quarterly third-party client surveys, especially from key clients with high impacts from working with CMTC
- Appropriate use and understanding of CMTC services, capabilities and partnership funding program rules and eligibility
- Maintain a sufficient pipeline of sales opportunities to achieve individual and company goals
- Contribute to the development, accurate forecasting and execution of monthly Field Operations plans to achieve goals for revenue, clients surveyed, client impact and client satisfaction
- Project management of in-progress contract projects
- Daily input and management of accurate client activity and contract data in CMTC’s CRM
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry is desired
- Experience in a professional services firm or consulting services in client/account management role is desired

Organizational Relationships:
- Reports to Assistant Director, Business Development
- Works closely with internal and external consultants responsible for service delivery
- Works with team members to establish and maintain relationships with other business entities including partners, third-party organizations, and other CMTC business units
- Represents CMTC, where applicable, through meetings with customers, partners, and/or other business associates
- Engages with all CMTC staff

Client Advisors receive a variable compensation plan with a base salary range of $105,000 - $119,999 plus the opportunity to achieve a performance-driven bonus along with a very competitive benefits package.
