Future opportunity for a Client Accounting Senior position. While this role is not currently open, we are always looking to connect with dedicated professionals like yourself for upcoming opportunities.

Position Details:

• Pay: Starting at $85k/yr depending on experience
• Remote position - M-F
• Benefits start day 1!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares and reviews various general ledger account reconciliations and bank reconciliations
• Performs budget to actual variance analysis
• Compilation and consolidation of financial information for the production of timely client financial documents and reports while considering applicable accounting standards, accounting policies and internal controls
• Present financial reports to client management and external clients
• Preparation of client annual budgets and forecasts
• Under general supervision, may prepare complex accounting analysis for management or external clients
• Assists with billings to client members
• Verifies proper account coding and approvals prior to payment of vendor invoices
• Collaborates with departments to support strategic decision making for each client
• Serves as a lead with external auditor requests
• Reviewing tax returns prior to filing
• Maintains up-to-date documentation on procedures for assigned areas of responsibility

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 3 or more years of related professional experience
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail a must
• Ability to multi-task and meet varying, and sometimes overlapping, deadlines

Desired:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate
• Public accounting experience highly preferred
• Master's degree in Accounting
• Experience in the insurance industry
