Position Overview
Clerk Phlebotomists work in the SHWC Lab drawing blood and taking other specimens, such as urine and cultures, and processing information in the electronic health record system.

Previous Phlebotomy experience

Job Duties:
- Maintaining confidentiality when exposed to confidential information
- Entering information on patient records
- Preparing information for reference labs, such as labeling specimens and cataloging results
- Processing paperwork
- Drawing blood and collecting specimens per specified guidance
- Transcribing medical providers’ orders
- Filing laboratory reports
- Performing all clerical duties with precision
- Providing customer service to visitors

19-hour M-F (schedule set by lab)
