QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or training in performance responsibilities. Preferred experience in supporting special programs to include English Language Learner, Compensatory Education, Indian Education, and the McKinney-Vento Homeless program. Preferred knowledge of federal program assessments and federal program reporting.
REPORTS TO:
Coordinator of Federal Programs
JOB GOAL:
Supports the Coordinator of Federal Programs in the implementation, evaluation, compliance of federal, state, and district programs, such as English Language Learner Program, Compensatory Education, Indian Education, and the McKinney-Vento Homeless program.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with reports to federal and state educational agencies to ensure compliance for funding.
- Supports the Coordinator of Federal Programs to ensure compliance and program effectiveness.
- Completes data entry for program compliance.
- Prepares specialized reports for program compliance.
- Maintain program specific budgets.
- Input data to maintain, update, and process grant information.
- Stays current on legal requirements concerning federal and state programs, including attending professional meetings and workshops as appropriate.
- Supports the preparation of materials and documentation prior to monitoring visits.
- Supports the district responsibilities regarding federal programs.
- Performs other job duties as assigned.

- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software, preferred accounting used software and Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and other appropriate technology software).
- The ability to type 40 wpm.
- Knowledge of appropriate business machines and telephones.
- Monitor special system(s), not limited to, including security and fire alarm systems.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Twelve-month, employee pay and benefits in accordance with Board policy.
- FLSA: Non-Exempt
