CLAIMS SUPPORT ASSISTANT
Summary:
The Panther Group is searching for a CLAIMS SUPPORT ASSISTANT to fill a need for our well known client in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will be eager to apply their excellent organizational, computer, and communication skills to various clerical tasks. This position is full time and they are looking for individuals that can work in a hybrid setting. Candidates will be reporting in office 3 days per week in Pittsfield, MA and working from home the other 2 days.
CLAIMS SUPPORT SPECIALIST / DATA ENTRY
JOB DESCRIPTION
Transfer data from client submissions into computer files or database systems using keyboards.
Type in data provided directly from clients.
Create accurate spreadsheets with large numbers of figures.
Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
Update existing data in spreadsheets.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
Proven experience as data entry clerk.
Excellent knowledge of spreadsheets (i.e. Excel).
Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices.
Basic understanding of computer networks.
Great attention to detail.
High school degree or equivalent.
