Location: Baltimore, Maryland
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Supervise adjusters and administrative staff.
- Perform daily diary on adjusters’ claims.
- Provide direction/guidance on claims.
- Ensure Medicare compliance.
- Warrant that performance standards are met or exceeded.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of equivalent work experience.
- Legal claims adjusting experience.
- Computer literacy, including MS Office, Word, Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication + customer service skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven critical thinking skills, displaying analysis/judgment and sound decision-making with attention to detail.
- Ability to prepare and present accurate, reliable, and factual reports with recommendations to appropriate parties.
- Flexibility in a fast-paced environment, understanding and adherence to oral and/or written policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Quick learner, adapting to rapidly changing information and/or technology.
- Comfort working with key individuals at all levels within an organization.
