Claims Manager - Torrington - O&G Industries Inc

As the Claims Manager, you’ll take on responsibilities that go beyond traditional administrative tasks, becoming a key player in claims management, communication, and operations across all divisions. In this role, you will:

• Coordinate and manage claims from intake to closure, collaborating with insurance brokers, adjusters, defense counsel, and internal teams
• Utilize data and analytics to provide actionable insights on claim prevention and mitigation strategies
• Support employees’ return-to-work processes, including light duty program coordination and workers’ compensation care
• Handle administrative responsibilities such as document preparation, invoicing, and communication with key stakeholders

We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in administrative work who is ready to take ownership of processes and grow their impact. Qualifications include:

• 5+ years of professional experience, with knowledge or exposure to insurance (workers compensation, general liability, etc.) being a plus
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a passion for problem-solving and intellectual curiosity
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with JD Edwards is a plus
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with an eye for detail and a commitment to deadlines
• A desire to step into a role with broader responsibilities, including project management, and data-driven decision-making
