Are you an experienced professional in the insurance industry with a knack for handling complex claims and leading a team? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our company is looking for a Claims Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your skills and experience to manage a team of claims professionals, resolve complex claims, and contribute to our risk management strategy.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing the day-to-day operations of our claims department, ensuring all claims are processed accurately and timely.
2. Handling complex claims, including Employment Practices Liability, and other liability claims.
3. Leading a team of claims professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they are equipped to handle all types of claims.
4. Collaborating with other departments to develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize company exposure.
5. Monitoring and analyzing claims data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.
6. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
7. Providing exceptional customer service, resolving any issues or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
8. Participating in the negotiation and settlement of large and complex claims.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry, specifically handling complex claims.
2. Proven experience in a leadership role, managing a team of professionals.
3. Strong knowledge of Employment Practices Liability and other liability claims.
4. Excellent risk management skills, with the ability to identify potential risks and develop effective strategies to minimize exposure.
5. Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle any issues or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
6. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze claims data and identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, other departments, and customers.
8. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
9. Professional certification in Claims Management or a related field is a plus.
