AECOM Transportation – CM/CEI is seeking a candidate for the position of Engineering Technician III, in their Stevens Point, WI office. Work will consist of construction inspection, materials testing, administration, and CAD of WisDOT and local projects.

The successful candidate will be based out of the Stevens Point, WI office and will be responsible for communicating directly with team members, AECOM Project Leaders, and contractors.  They will work independently and with other team members to complete quality WisDOT and local construction and design projects on time and within budgets. 

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Monitors and documents conformance with quality, performance, safety and code requirements. 
• Activities may include assisting with engineering calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and engineering installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining project documentation. 
• General understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.

Minimum Requirements:

• HS + 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Preferred Requirements:

• GPS and Survey equipment knowledge.

• Familiarity with Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

• Familiarity with municipal, county, and non-WisDOT construction projects.

• Familiarity with WisDOT Standard Specifications and material certification requirements.

• WisDOT material certifications including AGGTECH, PCCTECH, Nuclear Density.

• Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
• Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
